Sourceforce Systems is deeply committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy outlines how Sourceforce Systems collects, uses, and discloses information, and explains your choices regarding your information preferences.
This policy applies to data practices associated with our website (sourceforce.systems/) and Sourceforce Systems’ services (“Services”).
01. Who This Policy Applies To:
This Privacy Policy is intended for:
- Clients
- Vendors
- Individual Users of Websites and Apps
For Clients and Vendors, this policy details how Sourceforce Systems may collect, use, and disclose information related to your company, websites, and apps that utilize our Services.
For individual users, this policy explains our data practices when you visit our website or use any website or app that integrates Sourceforce Systems Services.
02. Important Note on Third-Party Policies:
Clients, Vendors, and other parties may have their own privacy policies governing their data collection, use, and sharing practices. These policies may differ from Sourceforce Systems’ policy described here. We strongly encourage you to review the privacy policies of any websites you visit and apps you use to understand their practices and choices.
Additionally, any website using our Services may contain links to third-party websites or content. We do not control the privacy practices of these third parties. We advise you to review their privacy policies before sharing any personal information.
03. Information Collection and Use
Sourceforce Systems collects data through various methods, including log files, pixel tags, cookies, and similar technologies.
The types of data we collect include:
- Browser Information: Such as URLs, browser type, and click-through data.
- Ad Reporting/Delivery Data: Including ad size/type, impressions, location/format, and interaction data.
- Device-Type Information: Like screen dimensions, device brand, and model.
- Information about Your Activities: Data related to your interactions on our website and Services.
We may combine information that does not directly identify an individual with data from other sources. This combined data is then disclosed to participating clients, vendors, advertisers, and ad networks. This helps them determine ad inventory bids and improve ad relevance for users.
We also use collected information to host, operate, maintain, secure, and further develop and improve our Services. This includes tracking ad delivery, measuring ad effectiveness, and investigating compliance with Sourceforce Systems’ policies and terms.
Some third-party partners may directly contribute additional data, which we may combine with our own to enhance our service.
We do not collect any information that could directly identify an individual.
Sourceforce Systems does not engage in activities requiring parental notice or consent under the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13 that falls under COPPA, please contact us using the information below to request deletion of that data.
04. Cookies and Other Similar Technologies
We utilize cookies (small files that uniquely identify your web browser), web beacons (electronic files monitoring website usage), pixels, tags, and similar technologies. These are essential for operating and improving our website and Services, including enabling interest-based advertising. Some of our Service Providers (defined below) may also employ these technologies for services performed on our behalf.
05. Information Sharing
We only share your contact and billing information with third parties in the following ways:
- With your explicit permission.
- With our affiliates: This includes entities that control, are controlled by, or are under common control with Sourceforce Systems.
- With Service Providers: We contract with third parties for services like advertising, analytics, data management, web hosting, and web development. We ensure their privacy and security practices align with ours, providing them only the necessary information to perform requested services. These Service Providers are prohibited from using your information for any other purpose.
- During business changes: If Sourceforce Systems undergoes a merger, sale, transfer of assets (including bankruptcy), or other corporate change, we may disclose or transfer information as part of that transaction.
- For protection and legal compliance: We may share information when we believe it’s necessary to protect Sourceforce Systems or our users, enforce our terms or legal rights, or comply with requests from government authorities, legal processes, or other legal obligations.
We may also share other collected information, including aggregate information, to develop and provide our Services, as described above. This shared information will not personally identify an individual.
Additionally, Sourceforce Systems may be required to disclose information in response to lawful requests by public authorities, including those related to national security or law enforcement.
06. Interest-Based Advertising
Sourceforce Systems complies with industry self-regulatory principles, including the Digital Advertising Alliance (DAA) Self-Regulatory Principles in the US, the European Digital Advertising Alliance (EDAA) Principles in the EU, and the IAB Europe OBA Framework.
Our Ad Exchange utilizes cookies, web beacons, pixels, tags, and similar technologies. These allow clients to offer and advertisers to display targeted ads on your current device or other devices. These ads are tailored to your interests based on inferences drawn from:
- Location data
- Web viewing data collected across non-affiliated sites over time
- Application usage data collected across non-affiliated apps over time
This practice is known as “interest-based advertising.”
Additionally, certain third parties may collect data on the Sourceforce Systems website and combine it with information gathered from other websites over time, including for interest-based advertising purposes.
07. Opting Out of Interest-Based Advertising
To learn more about interest-based advertising or to opt out of website interest-based advertising enabled by Sourceforce Systems’ Ad Exchange:
- For European Union residents: Visit www.youronlinechoices.com to opt out of advertising from participating EDAA companies.
- For all other users: Visit www.aboutads.info/choices to opt out of advertising from companies participating in the DAA self-regulatory program.
Important Note: For your opt-out choice to be effective through these tools, your browser must be configured to accept third-party cookies, such as the Sourceforce Systems opt-out cookie. Some browsers block third-party cookies by default, and you may need to adjust your browser settings accordingly before opting out.
08. Opting Out for Non-Cookie Services (where applicable)
Sourceforce Systems or our partners may use your browser’s local storage or cache. This helps identify your browser and potential relationships between different browsers and devices, allowing us to deliver interest-based advertising without relying on third-party cookies. Please note, we use local storage strictly for application processing, not for tracking.
To opt out of Sourceforce Systems’ use of local storage or browser cache for its services, please:
- Clear your browser’s local storage and cache using its built-in tools.
- Activate any “Do Not Track” header setting offered by your browser.
As long as these two steps are completed and maintained, Sourceforce Systems will not use local storage or the cache on that browser to identify and sync browsers and devices.
If you also wish to opt out of Sourceforce Systems’ use of third-party cookies for interest-based advertising (as enabled by our Ad Exchange), please refer to the instructions in the section above.
09. Opting Out for Mobile Application Data
To opt out of Sourceforce Systems’ collection, use, and transfer of data for interest-based advertising in mobile apps, you may download the DAA’s AppChoices application from the Android or iOS app store on your mobile device.
Users outside the United States may not have access to this application. Alternatively, you can use “Limit Ad Tracking” in your iOS settings or “Opt out of interest-based ads” in your Android settings to limit Sourceforce Systems’ data collection for interest-based advertising.
10. Opting Out for Location Data
You may opt out of our collection, use, and transfer of precise location data by using your mobile device’s location services controls in its settings.
11. Effect of Opting Out
If you use a different device or browser or erase cookies from your browser, you’ll need to renew your opt-out choice. If you opt out of Sourceforce Systems’ practices, you may still receive interest-based advertising through other companies.
Third-party advertisers and ad networks participating in the Sourceforce Systems Ad Exchange may also use their own cookies and other ad service technologies to display and track their ads. We do not control and are not responsible for their information practices or use of these technologies. Please read their privacy policies to learn more about their practices.
Even if you opt out, Sourceforce Systems may continue to collect data for other purposes. You will still receive advertising from the Sourceforce Systems Ad Exchange when you visit websites of a Client who uses our Services – but these advertisements will not be targeted to you.
12. Reviewing and Updating Information
Sourceforce Systems takes reasonable steps to ensure that information is accurate, complete, current, and reliable for its intended use. For contact or billing information submitted through our website, you may review, correct, update, or change your information, request account deactivation, or remove your information from our direct marketing efforts at any time by emailing us at contacts@sourceforce.systems.
13. International Information Transfers
Please be aware that the information we collect, including contact and billing information, may be transferred to and maintained on servers or databases located outside your state, province, country, or other jurisdiction. Privacy laws in these locations may not be as protective as those in your region. If you are located outside the United States, please be advised that we process and store information in the United States. Your consent to this Privacy Policy or use of Sourceforce Systems Services represents your agreement to this processing.
14. Security
Information we collect is stored using procedures and practices reasonably designed to help protect it from unauthorized access, destruction, use, modification, or disclosure.
15. Policy Updates
From time to time, we may change this Privacy Policy. If we decide to change it, in whole or in part, we will inform you by posting the revised Privacy Policy on the Sourceforce Systems website. These changes will take effect on the effective date disclosed in the revised Privacy Policy.
